OUR SERVICES
We offer a range of services, with the option to purchase our time in bulk. This enables us to build positive relationships with staff, children and families.
Our initial consultation is free of charge and we are happy to come and visit you in your setting, online or a chat over the phone.

Behaviour Observations
Children's behaviours are key to telling us what is happening in their lives and it is often an indicator they are not feeling safe or there is an unmet need. Through observations of children in school, CPD for staff, governors and families, we can enable you to identify the early signs of issues and give staff the confidence to respond and support the child.

We offer a tiered approach to our behaviour observations, so you can choose which level is going to support the child and school in the most effective way. From foundation level to 360 degree observation, we ensure you are given strategies and recommendations to support the child and adults working with them.
We also work alongside families, which includes home visits.
Support For Families, including Parent Support Groups and group sessions
At For The Child, we believe in building positive relationships with families to provide essential support. We assist with managing behaviours, ensuring safety, and advocating at meetings. Our expertise extends to helping with Disability Living Allowance (DLA) forms and offering guidance on Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), as well as the EHCP process.
Wellbeing and Safeguarding

Training
At For The Child, we offer an extensive range of training, which can be for a staff meeting, twilight session or whole day Inset training.
Training can include:
Shame and how to manage it effectively
ACE's and Trauma - how to support children and adults
De-escalation strategies
Introduction to Emotion Coaching

We can also tailor the training to the needs of your school/organisation, so please contact us.
Safeguarding
Our wealth of knowledge and experience is fundamental to anything we do. Behaviour can communicate a safeguarding issue and we will support the school to use professional curiosity, alongside relevant information to manage the behaviours and follow relevant procedures.

We also work collaboratively with Debbie Innes, who can provide specific training related to safeguarding for staff and governors and an auditing system to ensure safeguarding is robust. She is also able to offer online training for DSL's. Check out her website to see what she can offer.
